Compulsory Mooting

For every HKU Law student, it's a MUST to pass a 3 credit course -- Compulsory Mooting.
I can't say it's very easy... it's very tedious...coz you gotta identify the issue (this consumes much time in researching...), read the law (Ordinances and cases) and journal and co-operate with your partner.
On the first week of semester 2, HKU Law faculty has booked many many court rooms in High Court for the students. How powerful! And that was the first time I step into High Court.

My partner is a very smart girl; it's indeed nice to be with a smart girl, life would be easier. The judge of the Supreme Mooting Court is Mr. Valentine.
I still remember that night... all four of us, waiting inside the court room, looking at the clock, counting down the seconds... 10-min is like a year!
Luckily, the judge, same as his name, is such a Valentine! He's a super nice Aussie partner in a Magic Circle firm, and he was a diplomat stationing in Beijing!
Getting a pass is not difficult. One teammate told us that only absent guys got fail in the past!

The busy start of the semester gives me a sign that a fxxking bc life is coming ahead...
